Manuel Barajas is a first generation Mexican American producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Born in El Paso, Texas, Barajas later relocated to Indiana, where his musical journey began. He learned guitar at age 10 and joined a rock band that was part of his church. This is where Barajas would meet his closest collaborator and friend, the artist Omar Apollo. Over the years, Barajas toured with Omar Apollo and co-wrote multiple songs together. Two of these songs, titled "Evergreen (You Didn't Ever Deserve Me At All) " and "En El Olvido" ended up on Omar Apollo's 2022 album Ivory - with the first track becoming a Tik Tok hit and peaking in charts across United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands, and more.
