RIP Swirl is a Berlin-based artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Since the release of his 2022 critically-acclaimed debut record Blurry, RIP Swirl, born Luka Seifert, has been crafting his melancholic soundscape, fusing his roles as a producer and DJ in Berlin’s club scene with his enduring love, and knowledge, of the guitar and analog recording techniques. He followed up with his one-off single, 2023’s “Let’s Make Out”, which featured Ydegirl and appeared on YEAR0001’s RIFT Two Compilation. He has subsequently become a close collaborator with a number of emerging artists as a producer. In June 2024, he returned with a single titled "Perfectly Blue", which featured the up-and-coming New York City-based artist Winter.
